Speedcell Battery P2 Light Weight Lithium Ferrous Batteries by Full Spectrum
The worlds smallest, lightest, and most powerful
motorsports battery systems. Average weight savings of 7 lbs on 1000cc
streetbikes. Applications available for all sizes of motorcycle, from
450cc dirt bikes to 1600cc drag bikes and everything in between. Perfect
for hard to start bikes where 24 volt systems have previously been
required. Ideal for use in total loss/non alternator systems.
Features:
Pulse- The Evolution of SpeedCell. Available in P2 and P3
configuration, Pulse series battery systems are the lightest battery
systems available. Pulse offers OEM style terminals for a clean
installation.
SpeedCell- The Original Lightweight Battery System. SpeedCell series
batteries are available in 12v and 16v configurations. All SpeedCell
series battery systems include our proprietary Quick Disconnect harness
and mounting hardware. Every Full Spectrum Power battery system is hand
built in the USA.<
Small Size: Our smallest system measures 60mm X 60mm X 70mm. Our largest system measures 120mm X 120mm X 70mm
Light Weight: Our smallest system weighs less than 320 grams. Our largest system weighs less than 1400 grams.
Powerful: Our smallest system produces 120 cranking amps. Our largest system produces in excess of 500 cranking amps.
Safe: Pulse and SpeedCell battery systems are built using mil-spec
A123 cells which are stable and non volatile. This means that unlike
other Lithium battery systems, Full Spectrum Power battery systems will
not produce a energy chain (fire) when ruptured.
Our systems are built specifically for motorcycle applications, and
are capable of withstanding the tremendous shock and vibration found in
racing applications. Every Pulse and SpeedCell battery system is built
to Department Of Defense (DoD) standard, and is capable of withstanding
100G load. This makes them ideal for extreme acceleration and
deceleration environments.
Applications:
P2: Available in both Pulse and SpeedCell series. This
is our most popular battery size. It is suitable for a wide range of
motorcycles including 1000cc inline 4-cylinder sportbikes running stock
charging systems, and V-Twin sportbikes up to 1000cc. This has been used
on 1098 Ducati's but is not recommended for this application in
temperatures less than 45 degrees F.
Capabilities: 240 amp discharge (this is similar to CCA for lead acid batteries); 4.6 amp hour capacity
Dimensions: 120mm (L) x 60mm (W) x 75mm (H); 700 grams (1 lbs. 8.7 oz)
FAQ'S
Q: How do I charge the Battery?
A: You can use a standard 5 amp or larger battery charger. For
those running a battery on a total loss application (no stator) we
recommend the Continuously Variable automatic charger.
Q: How long will the battery last?
A: Life expectancy is 7 to 10 years.
Q: What is the Amp Hour (Ah) rating?
A: An amp-hour is one amp for one hour, or 10 amps for 1/10 of an
hour and so forth. It is amps X hours. If you have something that pulls
20 amps, and you use it for 20 minutes, then the amp-hours used would be
20 (amps) X .333 (hours), or 6.67 AH. The accepted AH rating time
period for batteries is the "20 hour rate".
